Start with the amount on the packaging
Find the daily amount corresponding to your cat's weight in the product's feeding guide. This value is a starting point; age, activity level, and neuter status can change the requirement.
You can divide the daily amount into two or more meals suited to your cat's routine. Count treats toward the daily total as well.
Check regularly
Weigh your cat at regular intervals on the same scale and under similar conditions. If you notice persistent changes in weight or body condition, adjust the portion in small increments and consult your veterinarian.
